Does Ginger work outside Microsoft Office?
Yes. Ctrl+C+C works in almost any Windows app where you can select and copy text, including browsers, email and chat apps.
Does Ginger work in the new Outlook?
The Ginger buttons don't appear in the new Outlook, but Ctrl+C+C works there. See Use Ginger in Outlook.
Does Ginger work in Excel or PowerPoint?
The Ginger add-in is not available in Excel. Yes, it works in PowerPoint.
You can always select text and press Ctrl+C+C.
Does Ctrl+C+C overwrite what I copied?
Yes. It copies your selection like Ctrl+C, replacing what was on your clipboard.
How do I update Ginger?
Ginger checks for updates when it starts and installs them for you.
Is my text stored?
We do not store or share your data with anyone.
Can I use Ginger on more than one computer?
Yes, up to 3 devices can use the same account simultaneously.
How do I uninstall Ginger?
Open Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps, find Ginger, click the three dots (⋯) and choose Uninstall.
This also removes the Office add-in.
