Listen to your text and choose UK or US English

Hearing your text read aloud is a good way to catch mistakes and awkward sentences.

  • In the Ginger app, click the speaker icon under the text box. Click it again to stop.
  • In Word, select text and click Listen in the Ginger group.

Choose UK or US English

The UK/US button in the Ginger app sets which English Ginger uses when it corrects your text, for example colour (UK) or color (US). Click it to switch.

The UK/US button next to Check text

There is currently no option to choose a different reading voice.
