What to do

The G does not appear anywhere

In System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility, switch on Ginger Quick Correct and Ginger Writer. Then check that "Ginger icon appears when I select text" is on in Ginger's settings

The G does not appear in one app

Use Cmd+C+C instead. It works in every app

The G does not appear for a long selection

Select a shorter part, or use Edit in App for the whole text

Rephrase is greyed out

The text is too short, too long or too complex to rephrase. Try one or two sentences at a time

Replace did not change my text

Click in your text and press Cmd+V to paste the corrected version

Ginger is not running

Open Ginger Writer from your Applications folder. Ginger runs in the background, so look for its feather icon in the menu bar
